CDMA providers offer cheaper high pace facts and figures services compared to 3G, but which of the operators is the cheapest?
CDMA operators were the first in the high pace wireless facts and figures game, but now with GSM players proposing 3G services, they are not the only ones.
However, they are still the only ones with a pan India service as none of the 3G providers is present in more than 15 rounds. And possibly that's the reason they extend to cost their services on par with 3G operators and not much underneath them; but they are definitely lower.Different GSM players these operators are proposing very different pricing forms for their facts and figures services.
But which one is the cheapest?
MTS
MTS is proposing unbundled facts and figures beyond the facts and figures cap at 30 paise per MB, which is the second smallest after Reliance Communications and Tata Photon+, but different with RCom this rate is not constrained to one design but is accessible across plans.
although, MTS needs unlimited plans and most of its packs agree those of GSM operators in periods of charge and data. Only a day bag with 1 GB high speed facts and figures for Rs 96 and a Rs 249 pack valid for seven days and has 2 GB high pace data are unlimited. After the high speed limit is traversed the mesh is much slower.
Monthly loads available with MTS cost Rs 248 for 1 GB; Rs 348 for 1.5 GB; Rs 490 for 3 GB; Rs 698 for 4 GB and Rs 798 for 6 GB. A 90 day bag of 6 GB charges Rs 998.
