However, the OTA update comes in a package of 150 MB for the SGS4 and 180 MB for the HTC One, and comes as build JWR66V. This comes immediately after both HTC and Samsung released their Android 4.3 kernel sources online.
The Android 4.3 update, doesn't bring any major changes in the UI, however,it brings new features like Bluetooth 4.0 low energy support, OpenGL ES 3.0 support,Restricted Profiles, and much more. Moreover, Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play edition also gets a Bluetooth tethering as well and HTC One on the other hand receives an IR feature with the update. Other changes brought about by the OTA update are the increase in font size on the widget panel on both the devices and a slight background change in Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition.
Moreover, Xperia series from Sony was also said to receive the update soon but as of now the Xperia Z and the ZR are said to get the Android 4.2.2 firmware instead of the previously announced 4.3. The company had in fact announced to skip the 4.2 update and directly head on to 4.3 but it looks like Sony will take a bit more time to receive the update specially 4.3 version.
