Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Tab 3 Plus at IFA- {Report}

With its flagship smartphone Galaxy S 4 already announced, it is time for Samsung to focus on tablets. According to a report in ********* , Samsung is planning to launch two Galaxy Tab series devices at the IFA Trade Fair in Berlin later this year.

These tablets are expected to be dubbed as Galaxy Tab 3 and Galaxy Tab 3 Plus and will feature 7-inch and 10.1-inch display sizes respectively. The Sammobile source also speculates that the Tab 3 Plus might feature 11.6-inch display instead of 10.1-inch, but we think it is highly unlikely.

According to the information available so far, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus will come with a Super AMOLED Full HD display. There is no word on other specs of the tablet, but we can expect to see Android 4.2.2, quad-core processor, and 2GB RAM on the tablet.

There is no information available about Galaxy Tab 3 too. It will be the successor to company’s Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and is likely to keep the pricing low to compete well in the 7-inch tablet market, which is flooded with decent yet low-priced tablets.

Samsung has shown just one tablet – Galaxy Note 8.0 this year and IFA is going to be the next stop for the company to release more tablet products.

Galaxy Note 8.0 will go on sale in the next quarter and comes with features like 1.6GHz Cortex A9 quad-core processor, 8-inch WXGA display, Android 4.1.2, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front camera, 2GB RAM, 16/32GB of internal storage and microSD card support.
