A new firmware for Samsung's Galaxy S III smartphone has appeared online. 

Based on Android 4.2.2 release, the new firmware carries build number I9300XXUFME3 and bring several goodies including software features from Galaxy S4.According to S********, this is a test firmware and not a final release.



It includes new lock-screen, Daydream support, enhanced notifications, and revamped Settings UI. The final and stable release of Android 4.2.2 is expected to reach the phone around June.

- Boot into recovery mode (Home+power+vol up)

- Choose to wipe/factory reset.

- Then choose reboot and you should be good to go!

Back in December, Nokia launched a budget Windows phone called the Lumia 510. The smartphone has now got a massive price cut and is available on certain India online retail stores for as low as Rs 6,190.The phone is available for Rs. 6,190 on Amazon and Rs. 7,199 on Flipkart, with several other retailers pricing it between that range. This is quite the price drop if you consider the phone was launched in India for nearly Rs 10,000.

Sony Mobile had started pushing the new Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update wrapped as firmware update for the Sony Xperia Go smartphone. Sony Mobile has been on a streak of pushing out updates for its Xperia family of Android based devices. It has now pushed out a new firmware update, 6.2.A.1.100, for its Xperia Go ST27i model.
