HOW TO DISABLE FACEBOOK TICKER FEATURE, TRICK TO GET RID OF FACEBOOK TICKER OPTION, FB TICKER OPTION REMOVAL TRICK

Facebook has changed almost complete look of its homepage by adding New News Feed, Ticker Feed and Timeline.Ticker gives the real time updates and they get updated at every fraction of second.Many people like it some found it to be annoying.The Ticker news feed is visible within the chat window itself and its size is adjustable.So,if you reduce the size of Ticker feed you can see more online people in chat bar and vice-versa.If you find Ticker feed feature useless you can easily disable it in Google chrome and Firefox..similarly like we restored old facebook chat.

FOLLOW US ON FACEBOOK....

Although it has many limitations but it has advantages too. Those users who spend a lot of time on facebook will find it interesting to see the live activity of other people.Moreover when you move your cursor over any ticker update you can view the full story and chime in – without losing your place.

If still you are not convinced and want to get rid of it then follow these steps:-

For Google Chrome:-

Open Hide Facebook Sidebar Ticker extension’s homepage in your Chrome browser and click on Add to Chrome button there.

In pop-up window click on install button.

Login to your Facebook Account and you will no longer see Ticker Feed .

For Mozilla Firefox:-

First of all install Greasemonkey Add-On to your Firefox browser.

Click on Add to Firefox and then on Download Now button.

Now Restart your Firefox and you will see a monkey icon adjacent in your Address bar.

Go to Remove Facebook Right-Column userscript page and click on the install button there and then again on install button in the pop-up window.

Login to your Facebook Account and you will see no Ticker Feed on there.

STOP UR FB EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

If you have a facebook ID then it is sure that your Inbox is full of facebook mails. Right? Facebook Mails are Irritating.

Anybody adds you as friend then mail, anybody messaged you then mail. Even anybody commented then also facebook sends notification through mail. In mobile you can delete notifications easily because you have your mobile in your hand. But you can’t delete easily the mails because you open it very rarely. And yet it is hard enough to delete thousands of mails. You are socially active, that’s why you get more mails as you connect to people. But you can stop these mails if you found this annoying. Yes it is quite easy to stop such mails. You just have to change your existing notification settings. Just change it and you are done.

STEPS FOR CHANGING EMAIL NOTIFICATION SETTINGS:

Log in to your Facebook account.

Click on the Drop down arrow. And then click on Account settings Now on the left side bar click on Notifications Now here, see All Notifications. Click Edit in front of the apps which you want to edit settings for Notification.

For Example click on Edit in front of Facebook to edit your basic settings for mail notifications. Now Uncheck the boxes for which you don't want Email Notifications. For example, if you don't want mail notifications for anyone sends you a message, then simply uncheck the given box. and click on Save Changes Similarly change your settings for all apps, then you will get only that notifications through mails which you want. So Isn't it easy? Now Change your settings and keep your inbox clean.

A problem we all facing with facebook for the first couple of months is that we can't tag more than 5 friends in our mobile uploads (we can tag using pc). Now i have a trick to tag more than 5 friends using uour mobile.

1. First of all download and install facebook mobile app in your phone

2. Upload your photo ( not through facebook app use any browser ) then tag any 5 friends to that photo.

3. Exit browser and open facebook mobile app. It will show an option photos, open photo albums, open mobile uploads and select the photo from it which you want to tag your friends.

4. Now go to options, scroll down to tag option and select it. Now we can see the 5 friends we have already tagged, now select edit tag. it will show all your friends and select whom you want to tag, click on done after select. thats all.
